Donate in Honor of Richard Pierre Claude

In memory of Richard Pierre Claude, Professor Emeritus of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, founding editor of Human Rights Quarterly, and leading authority and innovator in human rights education, his family has asked that donations to the Uganda Fund be directed to the Pader Girls Academy.

The Pader Girls Academy, located in a region of northern Uganda once plagued by war, offers secondary education and vocational training to child mothers and other formerly abducted children. It also supports those affected by and/or infected with HIV/AIDS and provides counseling to address the psychological effects of violence and mass displacement. Read more.
